Answer: California has a roster of approved handguns that residents may purchase. If a gun is not on that roster, can not purchase those guns. Any orders placed for off roster guns will be cancelled. Some guns are legal for California Residents but may contain a high capacity magazine. These orders will be completed but the magazines will to pinned to 10 rounds. If the magazine is unable to be pinned to 10 rounds, the magazine will not given to you and will be forfeited to Boise Black Rifle.

Question: I am a Certified California Law Enforcement Officer, how do I buy a handgun?

Answer: California Law Enforcement Officers may buy guns that are off roster. Standard handguns with magazines contained within the pistol grip do not require any modification. Officers may purchase AR and AK pistols, however these guns must be sold with a CompMag in order to be legal. A copy of your Law Enforcement ID will need to be sent to admin@boiseblackrifle.com.
